We don't think there's anything more classic STATE than a 2" wide painted black and white stripe on white cotton gauze. We've been hooked on this combo for almost a decade now and are ecstatic to have it back in the shop. We first introduced this winning textile waaaaayyy back in the early days of STATE when we made our cozy Sunday pants. Adrienne still has a pair (9 years old!) and they just get better with each passing year. The cotton gauze gets so extremely soft, and the hand painted stripes melt into the fabric with each washing.
Nostalgia aside, this skirt is also a total classic and can pair with anything in your closet. Lean into the monochromatic, or let it be the graphic pop of pattern your outfit is calling for.
